about the tea
Kumari Gold is a specialty black tea processed from the young tea bushes and contains high volume of essential oils. The liquor is bright golden and produces a full-bodied, banked fruit flavour tea with a lasting finish. Cultivation and Certification: Certified Organic by Ecocert for Canada Organic Regime and USDA, Fair Trade Certified Awards: 1st place winner of the 2020 and 2nd of the 2023 Toronto Tea Festival, 3rd Prize at the 2020 Paris Tea Competition AVPA .

Organic black loose-leaf tea.
Notes
Full-bodied, highly aromatic, baked fruit flavour tea with a lasting finish. Character: Precious, Golden, Full-bodied.
Brewing Instructions
One spoonful per cup, brew at 95℃/203°F for 4-5 minutes.

Meet Dambar Kumari of Kanchanjangha Farm who planted her first tea bush on the Kanchanjangha Tea farm (which was their backyard back then) in 1984. "Kumari" represents the only form of living God in Nepal. Dambar, who married Mr. Baskota, is deeply admired by the farmers and their children.
