We are super excited to finally share with you our first ever Impact Report.
Tea Rebellion was founded by Annabel Kalmar in 2018 to revolutionise tea by connecting directly with growers and driving transformative change in the industry. This first report covers our sustainability journey from launch to the current year 2024. It also outlines our sustainability and impact plans for the years ahead.
Key Highlights
- Tea Rebellion favours a holistic understanding of sustainability that includes economic and financial aspects. To us this means paying an honest price for premium teas and staying committed to our trading partners.
- We also support our farming communities with initiatives that go beyond tea like creating a COVID fund to supplement farm incomes, diversifying incomes through agroforestry project and raising funds through crowdfunding to build a school in Nepal.
- Becoming a Top B Corp - Rebellion Food Brands became a B Corp with a top quartile score of 104.0 in 2022. Adopting the B Corp legal commitment as part of this process ensures that B Corp aligned decision making is written into our Articles of Incorporation
