What is a B Corp?

B Corporations hold themselves to rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B stands for Benefits for all. To qualify companies need to score more than 80 points in the B Corp Impact Assessment (BIA).  The scoring system is undergoing transition and from 2026 onwards companies will need to achieve a minimum score in each area and cannot offset one area against another and without one precise score overall.

Tea Rebellion’s and other listed tea companies above have a shared commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and innovation. Tea Rebellion’s focus on direct trade and transparent sourcing and co branding with farms empowers tea producers, setting a new precedent for ethical sourcing and industry transformation.

Tea Rebellion’s Impact on the Tea Industry

Tea Rebellion’s commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainable farming has sparked a quiet revolution within the global tea industry. By prioritising direct trade relationships with small-scale farmers, the company ensures that every purchase supports fair wages and environmentally responsible practices.

Will this result inspire other tea brands to rethink their supply chains?  Tea Rebellion’s approach shows that tea can be both exceptional in quality and ethical in origin.

Sustainability at the Heart of the Rebellion

Sustainability is not a trend for Tea Rebellion it really is the foundation to everything we do. By sourcing ethically produced teas, promoting traceability, and supporting smallholder cooperatives, we aim to embody what it means to do business responsibly.

This B Corp certification serves as powerful recognition of our mission. Achieving such a high score requires meeting rigorous global standards for social and environmental impact a reflection of Tea Rebellion’s integrity and dedication to doing good while doing well.
