Day 0 : Arrival (April 22 latest)
- Airport shuttle will pick you up on the arrival day or this day and get you to Kathmandu Guest House. The customer service is fantastic and it's in the heart of Thamel.
- Stroll the streets of Thamel and get acclimated.
- Feel free to order breakfast/lunch/dinner here.
- Meet other other tea travels on the trip (optional & depending on arrival time)
Day 1 Kathmandu Activities April 23
- Have nice breakfast in the hotel itself and meet Annabel & Pratik in the hotel lobby at 9 AM
- Visit Boudhanath Stupa (Buddhist Stupa) in the day and have lunch here
- Visit Patan Durbar Square OR
- Visit the operations/export office in Kathmandu, tea bars.
- Visit Champadevi (more than 200 priests pray for world peace everyday
- Dinner at a local place (Nandani Food Court or Newa Ghasa or Village Cafe)
- Get back to Kathmandu Guest House 8/9 pm
Day 2: Fly/drive to KTE with one tea stop in Illam (April 24)
- Grab early breakfast at the hotel and be ready for airport pick at the lobby by 7 pm (or earlier if needed)
- Board an early morning flight to Bhadrapur (first flight in the morning). Its a 45-mins flight
- Travel to Illam. Visit one specific tea farm there.
- Meet Sonam (teacher of the tea makers) and have lunch/tea tastings with him.
